2022 Workshops and Classes mixed media art classes offered through the Arts Center of the Capital Region
Free Bookmaking Classes Below is the list of free book making workshops I’m offering as part of my SCR grant for ‘The Journal Project, Part 2’.
Location: Troy Public Library, 100 2nd Street, Troy, NY 12180
-July 25: Pamphlet stitch book/journal making 4-6:30pm, courtyard (alternate room inside in the event of inclement weather)
-August 1: Concetina Poetry Bookmaking 11-2:30pm, courtyard (alternate room inside in the event of inclement weather)
-August 8: Flexagon/Infinity Bookmaking 4-6:30pm, courtyard (alternate room inside in the event of inclement weather)
-August 15: One Needle Coptic Stitch book binding 11-2;30pm, courtyard (alternate room inside in the event of inclement weather)
All materials will be supplied; however, if you have materials of your own you'd like to incorporate, feel free to bring them with you. In these workshops I aim to help tap into your creativity, both in visual and written language. No experience is necessary to attend! Sign up for one or all using the link provided.
*Attendees please note: I will be documenting the process through photographs and notes, in order to provide inspiration for my poetry and paintings, and also to record documentation for grant award purposes.
